Charlie Sisk of SISK RIFLES has introduced a new rifle called the "Stopping Rifle" based on the Marlin lever-action rifle. The
Stopping Rifle comes in .45-70, .450 Marlin, .444 Marlin, .30-30, .35 Remington, and the .44 Magnums with a stainless steel
bead-blasted or black matte Teflon finish. All rifles feature hand-lapped barrels, polished actions to ensure proper
feeding, 11-degree target crown and Pachmayr recoil pad. Triggers are hand polished and adjusted for a clean, crisp pull. Also
available are removable muzzle brakes and a handmade leather cartridge carrier that straps on the buttstock.
The Leupold Extended Eye Relief 2x scope is secured with quick-detachable scope mounts on an Ashley Scout scope mount or a receiver
mount. The Stopping Rifle is also available with Ashley iron sights.
Each rifle is shipped with 200 rounds of handloaded ammunition. One load is a deer/practice load, and the other is a
"stopping load." A customer can order any combination of the two handloads.
